PREAMBLE
These general terms and conditions of sale are agreed between Expanding World, Lda. headquartered at Rua Barão de Forrester 768, 4050-272 Porto, Portugal, tax number 508 761 018, and contacts +351 226 104 023 and info@expanding.pt hereinafter referred to as the "EVENT PROMOTER ENTITY" and individuals who wish to make purchases through this website, hereinafter referred to as the "User."
The parties agree that purchases made through this website shall be governed exclusively by this contract, excluding any previously available conditions on the site.
ARTICLE 1 – OBJECTIVE
These general terms and conditions of sale aim to provide and define all necessary information to the User regarding ordering, sale, payment, and provision of services, made on this website. These conditions regulate all necessary steps for the acquisition and ensure the continuity of this service to the User. All payments made by the User are free of any operator fees.
ARTICLE 2 - GENERAL TERMS OF SALE
By accessing and using this site to purchase tickets, the user agrees to the terms and conditions of sale established herein, as well as applicable privacy and cancellation policies.
By making a purchase on this site, the user confirms having read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions of sale, agreeing to fulfill all obligations and responsibilities related to ticket purchases.
The site reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions of sale at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon publication on the site, and it is the user's responsibility to periodically review the updated terms.
ARTICLE 3 - ORDER / PURCHASE
The ticket purchase process on this site involves selecting the desired ticket type, quantity of tickets, providing personal information, and secure payment through available methods.
Ticket availability is subject to event capacity and demand. The site will endeavor to keep availability information updated but does not guarantee continuous availability of tickets for all events.
Choose the available ticket type for the event, as well as the number of tickets on this website, providing the requested information there.
Fill in the information and choose the available options during the order completion procedure (payment method, as well as the tax number and name for invoicing purposes).
The User's final confirmation of the order implies full acceptance of prices and description of services available for purchase as well as these General Terms of Sale, which shall be the only applicable ones to the contract thus concluded.
The EVENT PROMOTER ENTITY will honor ticket purchases received online. If the service is not available, the EVENT PROMOTER ENTITY undertakes to inform the User as soon as possible.
The data on the invoice is the sole responsibility of the User. Once issued, the invoice cannot be changed and reissued.
ARTICLE 4 - PAYMENT METHODS
On this website, the Event Promoter Entity offers the User payment services by:
The payment service via Multibanco references, MBWay and Credit Card is carried out securely through the company Ifthenpay, a Payment Institution Authorised and Supervised by the Bank of Portugal (registration n.º 8707), with registered office at Rua de S. José, 771 4535-404 Santa Maria de Lamas, Tax Number 510450024 and Share Capital: €300,000.00. On the payment confirmation, the name of the contracting entity Expanding World, Lda may appear.
Ifthenpay's Multibanco entities are: 10559, 11202, 11473, 11604, 11686, 11687, 11802, 11873, 11925, 11988, 11989, 11990, 12133, 12177, 12178, 12179, 12262, 12263, 12288, 12333, 12351, 12352, 12378, 21721 and 21874.
In the case of credit card payment, the User's card will be debited immediately after filling in the fields with Credit Card details and personal information and confirming the data.
All payment transactions on this site are securely processed using encrypted protocols to protect user information. The site does not store confidential payment information, such as credit card numbers.
The user will receive a purchase confirmation after successful payment completion. Any additional charges, such as processing fees, will be clearly indicated during the purchase process and reflected in the invoice or receipt sent to the user.
ARTICLE 5 - AVAILABILITY AND DELIVERY OF ACCESS
The ticket(s) will be made available after confirmation of the payment made, via email.
Tickets or access to the event will be delivered electronically via email, available for download.
Ticket or access delivery times vary according to simultaneous ticket demand. The user should expect between 5 to 10 minutes to receive the email with the ticket.
ARTICLE 6 – PRICES
Prices are clearly displayed during the purchase process and should be understood in Euros, with charges and taxes included, considering the VAT in force at the date of payment of the order.
If the ticket prices increase, the User will be promptly informed and may choose to proceed with the order (paying the difference) or cancel it.
The user is responsible for reviewing and accepting prices and fees before finalizing the purchase.
ARTICLE 7 - CANCELLATION AND REFUND
The cancellation or refund procedure is handled on a case-by-case basis by the EVENT PROMOTER ENTITY.
Whenever possible, the refund will be made through the same payment method, but if not possible, the user must provide proof of payment and account or card ownership for the refund to be made by Bank Transfer.
The EVENT PROMOTER ENTITY undertakes to refund the User within a maximum period of 30 days.
A refund processing fee of 5% will be applied.
Note: Only the order holder can request a refund of the payment, not another person, even if they received them as a gift.
To request a cancellation and refund, the user must contact the event's customer support for further assistance and guidance via connect@glex.pt.
The request must be submitted in writing to the email, up to 14 days before service usage, and cancellation or refund instructions will be provided by the EVENT PROMOTER ENTITY through the same communication channel.
ARTICLE 8 - RIGHT OF FREE WITHDRAWAL
Pursuant to Article 4(1)(n) of Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of 14 February, the User is hereby informed that the right of free withdrawal set out in Article 10 of the same Decree-Law does not apply to the purchase of tickets made on this website, pursuant to the exception provided for in Article 17(1)(k) - services related to leisure activities where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.
Cancellations and refunds are instead governed exclusively by Article 7 (Cancellation and Refund) of these General Terms and Conditions.
ARTICLE 9 - APPLICABLE LEGISLATION
The use of this site and the purchase of tickets through this website are governed by Portuguese law.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the use of this website or transactions carried out through it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal.
ARTICLE 10 - ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Under Portuguese Law No. 144/2015 of September 8, in the event of a consumer dispute, the final consumer may refer the matter to the competent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entities.
The competent body, based on the geographical location of the EVENT PROMOTER ENTITY's registered office, is:

ARTICLE 11 - PRIVACY POLICY
Data processing is carried out in compliance with legislation on personal data protection. They will be computer-processed, included in the EVENT PROMOTER ENTITY's database(s), and used for recording and presenting other products and services, as well as institutional information provided by it.
Data Controller
The personal data collected through this website is
processed by Expanding World, Lda., with registered office at Rua Barão de
Forrester 768, 4050-272 Porto, Portugal, tax number 508 761 018 (the "EVENT
PROMOTER ENTITY"), acting as data controller within the meaning of
Regulation (EU) 2016/679, of 27 April 2016 (the "General Data Protection
Regulation" or "GDPR").
Purposes and Legal Basis of Processing the personal data provided by the User (namely name, email address, tax number, and any other information requested during the purchase process) is processed for the following purposes:
- Processing and managing ticket orders, payments and invoicing, based
on the performance of the contract concluded with the User;
- Sending purchase confirmations and event-related communications,
based on the performance of the contract;
- Complying with applicable legal and tax obligations, based on legal
obligation;
- Where the User has given prior consent, sending information about
future events, products and services of the EVENT PROMOTER ENTITY,
based on consent, which may be withdrawn at any time.
Data Sharing
Personal data may be shared with third-party service
providers strictly for the purposes described above, namely the payment
service provider (Ifthenpay) and other suppliers directly involved in the
organisation and delivery of the event, all of which are bound by
confidentiality and data protection obligations. Personal data is not sold
or shared with third parties for purposes unrelated to this website.
Provision of Data
The provision of personal data is voluntary;
however, failure to provide the data strictly necessary for the purchase
process may prevent the completion of the order.
Data Retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as
necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, namely for the
duration of the contractual relationship with the User and, thereafter, for
the period required to comply with applicable legal, tax and accounting
obligations.
User Rights
Under the GDPR, the User has the right to access,
rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of their personal
data, as well as the right to data portability. These rights may be
exercised at any time by written request to info@expanding.pt.
The User also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese national data protection authority - Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD) - at www.cnpd.pt, or with the supervisory authority of their country of residence.
Data Security
The EVENT PROMOTER ENTITY implements appropriate
technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against
unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure.
